We are German membes of the international Harley Owners Group and have selected our name BLUE HIGHWAY CHAPTER because in former maps the s i d e r o a d s had been printed in blue – highways, where you can cruise relaxed and without much traffic.
THEREFOR we are strongly opposed to a project which will develop towards a high density traffic area. Leave the nature adjacent to the canal as it is !!!

I just completed an eight day kayaking trip in the east arm of Glacier bay. I am also from Massachusetts, which has spent over $15 billion on the Big Dig. I think You will end up spending much more than this on the Blue Highway. This is Alaska. I think air and ship transportation is the much more appropriate means to provide transportation.
